WHAT
ARE ORTHOTICS?
Custom Orthotics are specially designed devices that are worn inside the shoe to control abnormal foot function and/or accommodate painful areas of the foot. Orthotics work on the feet in the same way braces work on the teeth – by exerting gentle consistent pressure to bring foot muscles and bones back into proper alignment. |
WHAT CAN BE DONE?
A thorough posture, foot and gait exam is conducted.
3D foot molds are created in a non-weight bearing position. These are used to make custom fitted corrective orthotics that slip into your shoes.
You will quickly adapt to having these inserts in your shoes, improving your foot balance and alignment.
Orthotics are so comfortable, and help your feet work so naturally that you will want to wear them as much as possible.
A combination of both Chiropractic
Adjustments
and orthotics are a great step toward body balance and natural health.
